Multimodal Writing XXX is designed to teach students the multimodal tools such as text, image, sound and video to effectively communicate to many different public audiences. We learned these skills through readings, guest speakers, research, groupthink, informative videos and trial and error.

 

Our major semester assignment was creating a video telling the stories of the refugees staying in RI that we interviewed. My group focused on Clement Shabani from the democratic republic of Congo. In the following text I will be explaining the process we went through in producing this video such as the interview Process, the research, the technological process and editing, and my reflection of the entire process. I feel that our class learned a lot from this entire process and I would like to share with you what I have learned.
